My jouney to becoming the person God made me. I struggle with an unhealthy relationship with food. These are my thoughts and feelings as I battle to find freedom.

Day 11
11:45 Apple, Granola Bar 12:30 smoothie swimming 3:30 2 Tomatoes, with some cheese on it Mojito - yes, another cheat 6:00 slice of regular pizza (another cheat, didn't even think about it when I started eating it!)
Hello, Amy. I found your blog by chance, (by clicking on the "next blog" button at the top of the page). It just takes you to a random blog, and yours came up!
I Just wanted to say, you are not alone in your struggles. Every Christian goes through these same painful struggles with their weak points.
I would like to recommend a book to you, which I think you might find helpful: "The Normal Christian Life" by Watchman Nee. It deals directly with this whole problem, of how to overcome your recurring weak areas.
If you are at the place where you almost despair of yourself, and are praying "when will I ever be free of this thing, God, why aren't you helping me to be stronger?" then please do not despair, because God has not abandoned you (even though it might feel like it). He knows that you are trying your best, and that you desire his holiness, and that's what counts.
Here is a link to an online version of the book: http://www.ccel.org/ccel/nee/normal.toc.html
God bless you, Amy. The Lord is going to work this thing out for you with his mighty hand, don't you worry. Yours, a well-wisher.

Amy, I am on weight watchers. I really like some of your food choices and may try them. At least 11 days.
Congrats on the 7 lbs! That is great.
